Magnetotransduction Therapy Amherst New York

How does the EMTT treatment actually work?

The EMTT® machine generates an electromagnetic pulse that will travel into the body up to a depth of 18 cm (approximately 6-7 inches) something which is unique to this therapy. This regenerative treatment stimulates specific biological processes in the tissues that are being targeted, increasing their activity. This activity speeds up the healing process in injuries and chronic disorders.

The research behind it shows that it is effective in speeding up healing of tendons, nerves, bone and lower back problems. EMTT® can be applied to any bone injury or tendon problem. In addition EMTT® can be further enhanced when combined with shockwave therapy ESWT, a modality that uses acoustic waves to accelerate healing and regenerate tissue. EMTT® combined with Shockwave Therapy is a ‘game changer’ for people struggling with chronic conditions.

EMTT is a side-effect-free method. As a patient, you will find the therapy very comfortable: The therapy loop is positioned over the area of pain while you remain fully clothed – direct skin contact is not necessary.

High-energy magnetic pulses are then transmitted to your body, where they take effect. A single treatment session lasts between 5 and 20 minutes, and between 6 and 8 sessions are required, depending on the severity of the condition and the response to the therapy.

EMTT treatment can have a positive effect on chemical reactions in pathologically altered cells. The cell metabolism can be reactivated and physiological processes can be normalised.
